Refund policy
Last updated 25 August 2026
You are never charged for a failed translation
Credits are deducted at the moment you download a finished document — never when you upload or translate one. If a translation fails, or you look at the preview and decide not to download it, nothing is deducted. There is nothing to refund because nothing was spent.
Unused credits
If you have bought credits and not spent any of them, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Email us and we will refund the purchase in full.
Credits you have already spent
Once credits have been used to download a document, they are not refundable. You have received the translated file, and it cannot be returned.
If a document you downloaded is materially defective — for example the layout is broken, or large parts of the text were not translated — contact us within 14 days with the document, and we will re-credit the pages or refund them. We would rather fix it than argue about it.
Consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the UK or European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days. By downloading a document you consent to that content being supplied immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for the credits used to obtain it. This does not affect your rights regarding unused credits, or any other statutory right you have.
How refunds are paid
Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
How to ask
Email [email protected] with the email address you used and, if relevant, the document in question. We aim to respond within one business day.
