What this service does

IntactPDF translates PDF documents into another language while attempting to preserve the original layout. You upload a document, we translate it and return a new PDF.

Your account

You may translate and preview documents without an account. An account is required to download a finished document. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure.

Credits

Translations are paid for in credits, where one credit covers one page. Credits are deducted when you download a document, not when you translate it. A document you have already paid to download can be downloaded again at no further cost while it remains available. Credits do not expire.

What you may upload

You must have the right to upload and translate the document. Do not use this service for material that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, or that you are contractually or legally barred from sharing with a third-party processor. We apply rate limits to keep the service available to everyone. We may suspend accounts that attempt to circumvent them.

Accuracy, and what we do not promise

Translation is produced by an automated system. It will sometimes be wrong, and layout is preserved on a best-effort basis. Do not rely on the output for legal, medical, financial or safety-critical purposes without a qualified human review. We do not provide certified or sworn translations.

Documents that are scans or images without a text layer cannot currently be translated. Right-to-left languages are not supported.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and refund unused credits.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to this service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending it

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
